Ошибка при установки проги

После команды ./configure вылетает такая ошибка -
configure: error:
in the prefix, you've chosen, are no KDE headers installed. This will fail.
So, check this please and use another prefix!
В чем проблема? подскажите.

И вот еще. раз уж на то пошло. при установке джаббер клиента
gajim-0.9]# make

была такая фигня там много пакетов при установке не собираецца. мейк в том числе криво ставиться
 
вообще-то мэйк там ставится, и причём не криво. А не хватает там каких-то приложений наподобии gcc (есесно не сам, а что-то с похожим названием)
 
первый глюк - ясно же написано - не найдены хидеры (то бишь заголовочные файлы) от KDE - причина - огрызочная установка KDE (без kdelibs - такое часто бывает с использованием прекомпилированных линуксов - типа шапки мандраки и пр.) или же КДЕ установленая полностью но в каталог не прописаный в путях например /usr/local/kde - система не знает такой путь - нужно его (а именно bin lib include) прописать в переменную PATH и пр.
во втором случае аналогично - не найдена команда msgfmt и соответственно не установлен зависимый пакет в котором присутствует нужная команда (судя по названию - что то связанное с форматом сообщений - в google обратитесь - подскажут)
